Minotti outdoor daybeds and sun loungers

Seven Minotti outdoor collections include a daybed, a bed or a sun lounger. They share the materials of their sofa families, so a pool deck can match the lounge area a few steps away.

Minotti Aston Cord

03Rodolfo Dordoni, 2014, polypropylene cord, pewter painted metal

Minotti Aston Cord is a family of separate outdoor pieces by Rodolfo Dordoni: a sofa, an armchair, a chaise longue daybed, a chair and a high stool with a backrest. Each one has a pewter painted metal frame treated for exterior use, a back woven from braided polypropylene cord and padded cushions covered in waterproof fabric.

Minotti Daylight

09GamFratesi, 2024, teak wood, ceppo di gré stone

Minotti Daylight is a 2024 outdoor family by GamFratesi. Its seats have curved backs and arms that open like a fan, and each stands on four cylindrical teak feet. The range covers a modular sofa, a daybed and a reclining sun lounger on castors, with side tables that set Ceppo di Gré stone into a teak frame.

Minotti Florida

11Rodolfo Dordoni, 2017, teak wood, pietra del cardoso stone

Minotti Florida is a modular outdoor sofa by Rodolfo Dordoni, Minotti's art director since 1998. Solid natural teak forms the feet and the rear supports behind the back cushions. Around the sectional sit a coffee table topped in Pietra del Cardoso stone and an outdoor bed, so one family can furnish a whole terrace.

Minotti Halley

13Rodolfo Dordoni, 2017, powder-coated metal, polypropylene cord

Minotti Halley brings Rodolfo Dordoni's indoor armchair of the same name outside. The outdoor family, introduced in 2017, has an armchair, a sofa, a pouf and a daybed. Each metal frame is sandblasted, powder coated and then wrapped completely in polypropylene cord that looks like woven wicker. Padded cushions sit inside, with covers that come off.

Minotti Quadrado

20Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, 2018, teak wood, woven fiber

Minotti Quadrado is a modular outdoor seating system by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, launched in 2018 and extended in 2019 with an armchair, a double daybed and a rectangular table. Every piece carries the same signature: teak duckboard, the slatted decking used on yachts so water runs straight through. Light Bronze metal details tie the family together.

Minotti Saki

22Nendo, 2025, lacquered panels, woven cord

Minotti Saki is the outdoor version of Nendo's Saki indoor seating system, added in 2025. Curved panels form the backs and arms like the petals of an opening flower, which is what the name refers to in Japanese. It comes in two families: Saki Outdoor with smooth lacquered panels and Saki Cord Outdoor with panels in woven wicker-effect cord.

Minotti Tape Cord

24Nendo, 2019, metal frame, wicker-effect cord

Minotti Tape Cord is Nendo's outdoor take on the Tape seating family, which first appeared indoors in 2018. Presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2019, it wraps a metal frame in wicker-effect cord in Mud or Licorice. A small Light Bronze plate that holds each leg to the body is the detail the name refers to.

Daybeds by the pool, loungers on the deck

A daybed is wide and meant for lying or sitting across, often with a back on three sides, as in Quadrado. A sun lounger is narrow, reclines and moves: the Daylight lounger runs on castors. Pick by how the space is used, a daybed for a corner in the shade, loungers in a row facing the water.

Mattresses and cushions take outdoor fabrics, and frames follow the collection: teak for Quadrado and Florida, cord for Halley and Tape Cord. Store cushions under cover through winter and the frames need little else.

Keep about 24 inches between loungers so people can get on and off, and about 36 inches at the foot where others walk past. The plan shows both.

Schematic plan, not to scale: two Minotti daybeds with a side table between them. Distances are common planning allowances.
