Minotti Bellagio outdoor dining table
Minotti Bellagio is a family of outdoor tables designed by Gordon Guillaumier. It includes round dining and lounge-dining tables topped with polished Basaltine stone or natural teak, plus low side tables, one of them a bistro model. The bases are stainless steel, painted in finishes meant to hold their color outdoors.

Basaltine on a steel base
Two top materials define the dining tables. The stone version uses Basaltine, fine-grained and polished smooth, with a contoured edge and a stain-resistant treatment, which matters when olive oil or red wine lands on it. The wood version pairs a teak top in a natural finish with a structural stainless steel frame. Stone tops are heavy and stay put in a gust, while teak gives a warmer surface and weathers to silver gray if left unoiled.
Under both tops the base is stainless steel, which resists rust in salt air. It is coated in epoxy paint: polished bronze or pewter, or matt ecru or dark brown, all chosen to keep their color over time. The teak version's frame takes the same range. New sizes arrived in 2022 in both dining and lounge-dining versions, so a lower table can serve a sofa corner and a standard one a full set of chairs.
A Lazy Susan swivel tray in brushed Basaltine can be added at the center of a round table. It has a contoured edge and a chamfered underside, and it puts shared dishes within reach of every seat. Alongside the dining tables, Bellagio includes low tables from 2012: a square side table and the round Bistrot. They belong with other Minotti side tables next to a lounge chair or at the end of a sofa.
Gordon Guillaumier kept the shapes plain, a round top with a softened edge on a stainless steel base, and let the grain of the stone and the contrast of painted steel carry the design. For a family dinner on a covered porch or a hotel terrace, a round table keeps everyone in the same conversation. The choice between Basaltine and teak is mostly about matching the paving and the house.
