A family company in Meda
Alberto Minotti opened an artisan workshop in Meda, in the furniture district north of Milan, in 1948. From the sixties it grew into an industrial company. In 1991 his sons Renato and Roberto Minotti took over and pushed it into international markets, and from 1998 they shared the creative direction with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, who became art director of all collections.
A third generation joined from 1998 on: Alessio, then Alessandro, Susanna and Leonardo. Minotti describes its method as craft finishing on industrially made pieces, with a design studio in house that takes each designer's idea from sketch to prototype. The company still has its address in Meda, at Via Indipendenza 152.
The outdoor range started in 2006 with Alison, by Rodolfo Dordoni and Roberto Minotti, and now counts the 27 collections shown on this site.
