The outdoor half of the catalog

Minotti is a family company from Meda, north of Milan, started by Alberto Minotti in 1948. Its sofas are best known indoors. This site covers the outdoor furniture Minotti makes for terraces, gardens and pool decks: teak and iroko frames, woven cord, stone tops and stainless steel.

The first outdoor piece was Alison, a seating system from 2006 by Rodolfo Dordoni and Roberto Minotti. Twenty-seven collections later, the range runs from a single steel coffee table to modular sofa systems that fill a roof terrace. We list each one with its pieces, its designer and the materials, and we price the exact configuration you want, delivered to a US address.

A sofa Minotti builds for the living room, or a Minotti dining table meant for indoors, sits outside our scope. Write anyway, and we will say so plainly.

Eight collections to start with

Each one shown the way a gallery hangs a work: the photograph in its mat, the label under it. Numbers follow the A to Z index.

Minotti Quadrado

20Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, 2018, teak wood, woven fiber

Minotti Quadrado is a modular outdoor seating system by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, launched in 2018 and extended in 2019 with an armchair, a double daybed and a rectangular table. Every piece carries the same signature: teak duckboard, the slatted decking used on yachts so water runs straight through. Light Bronze metal details tie the family together.

Minotti Lido Cord

15GamFratesi, 2021, stainless steel, polypropylene cord

Minotti Lido Cord is an outdoor family by GamFratesi with a look taken from the 1950s. It includes two-seater sofas, lounge and dining armchairs and round or square coffee tables in Basaltina stone. The curved backs are stainless steel painted bronze and wrapped in polypropylene cord, and most seats rest on mahogany or teak legs.

Minotti Daylight

09GamFratesi, 2024, teak wood, ceppo di gré stone

Minotti Daylight is a 2024 outdoor family by GamFratesi. Its seats have curved backs and arms that open like a fan, and each stands on four cylindrical teak feet. The range covers a modular sofa, a daybed and a reclining sun lounger on castors, with side tables that set Ceppo di Gré stone into a teak frame.

Minotti Bellagio

04Gordon Guillaumier, 2012, basaltine stone, teak wood

Minotti Bellagio is a family of outdoor tables designed by Gordon Guillaumier. It includes round dining and lounge-dining tables topped with polished Basaltine stone or natural teak, plus low side tables, one of them a bistro model. The bases are stainless steel, painted in finishes meant to hold their color outdoors.

Minotti Torii Nest

25Nendo, 2021, teak wood, woven cord

Minotti Torii Nest is a family of outdoor seats by Nendo, built around a round backrest of woven cord. The indoor chair came first in 2020; the outdoor armchair followed in 2021, and a curved two seat sofa and a round sofa joined in 2023. Cushions rest on a solid teak frame raised on slim aluminum legs.

Minotti Klasen

14Gordon Guillaumier, 2014, metal, saddle-hide leather

Minotti Klasen is a small outdoor family by Gordon Guillaumier: stools and a bench, each on a metal frame painted pewter for outdoor use. The seats are woven by hand from saddle-hide straps in a terracotta tone, treated to repel water. The bench dates from 2014. The pieces are compact and plain in shape, with the detail kept to the weave.

Minotti Tape Cord

24Nendo, 2019, metal frame, wicker-effect cord

Minotti Tape Cord is Nendo's outdoor take on the Tape seating family, which first appeared indoors in 2018. Presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2019, it wraps a metal frame in wicker-effect cord in Mud or Licorice. A small Light Bronze plate that holds each leg to the body is the detail the name refers to.

Minotti Pilotis

19Rodolfo Dordoni, 2021, stainless steel, corten-effect varnish

Minotti Pilotis is a small round outdoor coffee table by Rodolfo Dordoni, added to the outdoor range in 2021. It is a solid cylinder of stainless steel, varnished in a Corten finish or in cobalt blue, and it comes in two heights that share one diameter. The oxidation treatment leaves each piece slightly different from the next.

Plan the terrace before the price

A sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table need more floor than most people think.

The people who drew them

Rodolfo Dordoni has been Minotti's art director since 1998 and drew more of the outdoor range than anyone else. GamFratesi, Nendo, Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 and others added their own families.

Why every price is on request

Minotti builds outdoor pieces to order. The same Fynn table or Torii Nest sofa changes price with its size, the stone or wood of the top, the fabric grade and the number of modules. A price list would be wrong for almost every real project.

So we price the configuration you want: the pieces, the finishes and the delivery to your address, in one written quote. Ask about one coffee table Minotti makes in stone, or a whole terrace of Minotti sofas; the answer comes back by email within one business day.
